Wow, just wow.
Just saw a news piece about how the majority of Trump supporters think Fox News is "too liberal".

acounterfactualalternative description of reality
WHY IS EVERYONE DOING SO MUCH MISREMEMBERINGToday, Trade Adviser Navarro deliberately intoned a counterfactual description of reality using language that implies deceptive intent!
JFC how may hurdles did we have to clear before CNN would finally report stories like this using unequivocal language?
One of my old TV jobs was at a station called The Score. It was basically the third national sports broadcaster in Canada. We used to have a score ticker that ran along the bottom of the screen 24/7, updating game scores and sports news. One night an intern input text into the ticker that read:Meanwhile, whoever updates the whitehouse.gov website updated the Christmas at the White House page yesterday. The updated copy for the 2020 festivities includes the phrase "Trump's last Christmas at the White House".
I wonder if they still have a job.
The local news last night asked the same question sarcastic after saying that at least one person in the white house has resided to the fact that Biden won.
I'm trying to find an actual news article about this to link, but all I find are a million articles about "Did Melania Trump really say this is their last year in the White House?" And of course the fact check says she did not.
But I'm wondering if this widespread story of the day stems from the website update yesterday.
My personal email is a reference to a character named Elijah Snow from a comic named Planetary and I have had many an avatar of Snow over the years.I just want to point out that people who use comic book characters as their avatars are sketchy AF.
while some of the memes that came from this bit of silly were amusing, the website being widely shared and screenshotted with that announcement has no affiliations with the WH/Melania, and is connected to parody pages. there have been no official holiday updates from Trump team this year outside of their seeking volunteers and sharing distancing guidelines for planned events.Meanwhile, whoever updates the whitehouse.gov website updated the Christmas at the White House page yesterday. I’m assuming someone else has already pointed out the shade you threw at @Woob_woob by now.
