Yeah it didn’t sound like Chuck to me either, but couldn’t think of anyone else either. Perhaps that’s a good thing

That’s what makes this all so insidious, right? Not knowing whether the guy you’re ranking U2 albums with is a Proud Boys enthusiast in his off hours is the whole problem. Joe didn’t *do* anything, except leave too many bread crumbs back to some of the other stuff he liked to talk about on the Internet.

My wife and I were talking about this recently in light of the election, this feeling of not knowing who is actually a friend...and she reminded me that as a white male it’s a little rich for me to describe this experience as if it’s not something that people likely her have dealt with for their entire lives.

I mean I live in a red state, so it’s been like that for a bit. I’ve personally never been afraid to speak my mind about politics. My wife is terrified of it. Probably the difference between having deep roots here and my marine brat years moving a bunch.

I did have an employee who recently lost his mind and started spouting some MAGA craziness in team meetings and was having increasing frequent and intense inappropriate run ins with other staff members. It’s been crazy traversing the path of correction and a right pain in the ass leaving all the documentation neutral and about his behavior not his thoughts. I even had to tell HR that I needed a few things to be more vague than they wanted for purposes of our insane appeal process.

Wouldn't it be great if Fox, for just a day, resorted to actual news and told Trump to fuck off and that he lost..............how and why so many bend to his whims is beyond me. Any, and I mean, any, news outlet could end Trump if they wanted to. If they had Trumps morals, his "Goose" would be cooked.

Yeah, during the height of the BLM protests, following George Floyd’s murder, politics started to bleed over into other non-political threads and it made a bunch of folks uncomfortable. I know of a few others that took a break during that time but have thankfully returned, while unfortunately a handful of others still haven’t found there way back. I do hope they will feel comfortable again in the future and give us another shot.
