even for the politics thread and in the midst of a discussion with Chuck- this ain't how we do things here. for the most part, we share, disagree, offer anecdotes, and sometimes throw salt or ignore- but this is getting kinda gross and aggro and just fucking stop please.

Just now I was having a one-on-one with Muh Freedums and we both agreed that there’s definitely too many people with too many guns in The United States. But I guess one persons right to own a gun is more important than another persons right not to be killed by one, otherwise we would have solved this by now.

Or brown notes or HG Wells or something idk.

I seldom post in this thread (last time I was active was around election time) but I read all of your thoughts quite often - enough to constantly get email alerts. And I take things of value from even people I don't always agree with.

But I will say reading the last few pages there is someone here that - regardless of political positions, like it's just baked into the very essence of who they are - is such a jackass that I wouldn't want to discuss anything with them on this thread, politics or music.

Like for real, when the guy who calls himself "Lord Diaper Baby" thinks you're a little much, it's probably time to reflect on your personality. Cause it sucks.

Thanks for the kind words, I’ll try harder next time but only because I value the opinion of a total stranger who is completely removed from the conversation.

In fact, I can already feel the change coming on. It’s warm and tingly, washing over me like a blanket that’s made of the deepest, darkest...uh oh, I think I mixed up the heroin and the insulin again. Either way, it’s a good night.
