Portland / Oregon

I was bummed to not catch a couple of the Jazz Fest shows, especially the Angelique Kidjo one. Having those around Presidents Day weekend rarely works for me, the kid almost always has something out of town with Volleyball.

Looks like a good schedule coming your way!

Bummed, I need to get rid of my Tortoise tickets from the reschedule to this Spring Break as we'll be out of town.
I was on the guest list for Tortoise and need to line that up again. The spring break scheduling is a drag, but we’re here this year. It wasn’t even someone in Tortoise with Covid. They could have played fine.

That's a bummer. Well let me know if you need tickets. I have two I'm going to need to get rid of. Thought about seeing if there was some way I could reach out to someone about switching them out for tickets in Los Angeles, could possibly drive over from where we'll be.

Nothing planned until summer but it's lining up well.

Both nights of the national
Isbell in Canby and spokane
Fleet foxes in August
Flaming lips tomorrow

Has anyone had luck with the presale for Pioneer Square? TRUEWEST isn't playing nice with me.
Yeah, I had to make sure to use the promoter pre-sale line. It didn't like the top one. Was able to get Patti and Mountain Goats that way.

Nice to see some activity in this thread! I've been down in Antarctica for the past 6 weeks, and definitely looking forward to live music upon my return. I've got the following lined up:

Immanuel Wilkins on 4/2 (Jack London)
Haley Hendericxx on 4/14 (Mississippi Studios)
Petite League on 4/15 (Honey Latte)
Brandee Younger on 6/8 (Old Church)
Billie Marten on 6/11 (Mission Theater)

Sad to miss Tortoise due to spring break - and I won't be back in time to catch Andy Shauf, who is always great.

Might have to see if I can make petite league

If anyone is interested in a couple of tickets to Tortoise on March 28th at Revolution Hall in Portland, let me know. Unfortunately I'll now be out of town for this rescheduled show.

I just got a GA lawn ticket for Gregory Alan Isakov at Edgefield on 8/20 (which is a Sunday ). Would be fun to meet up if anyone else is planning to be there.

On a side-note, I'm kind of surprised at how expensive the tickets were. The Etix company isn't far behind ticketmaster with the fees they charge, but even the base cost of the GA lawn ticket (which is BEHIND several rows of seats) was about what I'm used to paying for GA floor tickets for much bigger artists in downtown DC (I'm seeing Feist at the 9:30 club [small, legendary venue] for the same overall ticket price; My Morning Jacket is coming to a large venue downtown [the Anthem] for about the same price, too; my ticket for an M83 show at the Anthem next month was $12 cheaper, and my ticket to see the New Pornographers at the 9:30 club in May is nearly $20 cheaper).

I will say that Etix allows printing your tickets off at Mississippi Studios. I do appreciate that so I can get the souvenir.

But yeah, service charges/fees are brutal these days with most everyone. Used to live when I could drop into Mississippi Studios or the Aladdin and have the $1 service charge.

They won't let me for The National because I bought them through the Cherry Tree pre-sale
