Pre-Order Thread

They put some back up and for when they are sold out have a presale for the 2nd press of the clear.

Edit:also they said there is a cheaper UK shipping option now.

Wow, Castleface won't ship to me in Alabama. I did get in on a black version somewhere else though, thank you

This was a fans-only thing w password but I guess someone posted it on Reddit so cat is out of the bag

Weird I didn't get an email but I'm subscribed to them. Am I not signed up for something I should be? Going to not pick this up since I have the old silver version and I'm trying to not go down the variant rabbit hole (any more than I have...*stares at 3 pressings of bang bang and 2 of silent steeples)

I’ll never forgot the time my friend was a manager at a restaurant with two bars connected to it. A friend gave him a ring and was like , “hey so Days of the New want some place to jam. Do y’all have instruments they can play? Also they know have and original member of Train.”

that’s when me and other friends had to get some gear and set it up at a bar so that Days of the New and the member who fell from glory is the vans Train could jam.
I got free drinks for the ordeal and the train guy claimed he wrote drops of Jupiter and mumbled other salty drunk things.

this concludes my train story.

New Spirit of the Beehive coming out. I loved their last record. This new single sounds bonkers:

Torn here. On the one hand, I love Saddle Creek as a record label and I like Spirit of the Beehive. On the other, this single is neat, but might be a direction I'm less interested in if it's representative of the whole album.

That’s what I thought first, too, but their other albums are all over the place so I’m hoping to hear another track before committing.

I'm not sure if claiming you wrote Drops of Jupiter is a drunk flex or a drunk apology?

Like....how did he seem? Was he looking for a fist bump or did he seem twitchy like he thought he might get slapped?
He seemed sad he got kicked out of the band (allegedly) and was desperate to claim some type of W. looking for praise or glory ?
Sad tbh

oh! oh! Me next. I've told this before here.

2 years ago I was at an RV industry event with my old man and Train performed. Lead singer got frustrated that more people weren't paying attention to their set (free food/drinks were the main event) or singing along to the Train songs. Iirc "Have any of you even heard this one before?" was said a few times. People only got excited when they play Led Zeppelin covers, which I think made it worse. After their set I went up to front stage and snagged a few guitar picks they had flung out into the crowd but no one had bothered to pick up. Kinda felt bad, but from what I hear they are massively overpaid to play gigs like that.

I was also in the meet and greet line before the set and they cut it off when my group was next in line.
