Pre-Order Thread

Train narrowly missed becoming the Nickelback of that era. A strategically placed hiatus helped with that. Their sound is inoffensive and vanilla. It sounds like 90s music without the edge and country music without the twang. It sounds like if the band MercyMe of 'I Can Only Imagine' fame decided to stop singing about Jesus and instead sang about their love of fried chicken and the best soy latte they ever had.

And you know what? There's nothing wrong with any of that. It's catchy and puts you in a certain mood, so it's fine by me.

I’ll never forgot the time my friend was a manager at a restaurant with two bars connected to it. A friend gave him a ring and was like , “hey so Days of the New want some place to jam. Do y’all have instruments they can play? Also they know have and original member of Train.”

that’s when me and other friends had to get some gear and set it up at a bar so that Days of the New and the member who fell from glory is the vans Train could jam.
I got free drinks for the ordeal and the train guy claimed he wrote drops of Jupiter and mumbled other salty drunk things.

this concludes my train story.
This fellow made the same mistake as Levon Helm, but in the other direction. Just as Levon’s claim to have written “The Night They Drove Ol’ Dixie Down” is undermined by the fact that Robbie Robertson indisputably wrote several of the other greatest songs in rock history, this dude’s problem is that Patty Mo also wrote “Hey Soul Sister” and god only knows how many other stinkers.

That's the spirit!

Probably one of my favorite pieces of cinematic history right here although I grew up watching Better Off Dead more than Say Anything.

New Spirit of the Beehive coming out. I loved their last record. This new single sounds bonkers:

The label they were on previously (Tiny Engines) has a lot of bands and releases that I liked, but I heard that they treated their artists bad.

Ok so I just found this:

And I "ordered" a copy from them and was able to use PayPal. Shipping over 40 was free...

I'm nervous about this one, but since I got to use PayPal I went for it. If this is indeed legit then I just scored a vinyl copy of the Your Name soundtrack by Radwimps on vinyl. That's been a white whale album for a while now and prices are never this cheap. This almost seems like the original price from when it was first released in Japan with international shipping and such.

BTW, it's still listed on this site and it looks like you can get multiple copies.

You all think this is legit?
Okay well I just went through an ordeal and had to get PayPal involved and get a refund on this order for 65 bucks. they sent me a cheap fake necklace instead of the record I wanted so yeah my fault but I took a chance anyway just in case it was too good to be true and I am so glad I used PayPal so my advice which I know everyone here knows but I'll go ahead and repeat it if you're going to order something from a foreign Place use PayPal every time
