I went for the signed Barnes and Noble version.

I'm not up on my PT albums but like pretty much everything I hear. What exactly is this?
Live album. Of The Incident. Not essential IMO. Depends how you feel about that album and then live albums. Not to the height of say the Coma Divine live album but 1) that captured PT at a different time and 2) I’m not huge fan of live albums in general

I had the pleasure of seeing PT 3 times and I don’t fuck w live albums too much. So if you’re looking for PT I’d spend $ where you have gaps in their great discog first

New Field Music has been announced. Anyone not familiar should check them out though as they're great (I'd say that even without my local bias). The Dinked looks cool too

Thanks for posting. Just learned of this band last year, so snagged 4 older albums and a pre-order for the new one. There’s something about their sound that just hits the right parts of my ear. I had Black Mile to the Surface coming in the mail before I was even done with my first listen of it.

it’s crazy to me to think about and realize I first heard these guys 12 years ago (I’m starting to feel old, lol). I was at my first lollapalooza, it was the first day and I had never been to a festival. They were the first band on the Budweiser stage that day and Hockey had just played diagonal to them in the park. It started to rain as we sauntered over and watched from the back. Andy’s voice caught me right away and this is the song that hooked me.

I first heard Cope.
I was kind of wide-eyed from the story in Top Notch, and they hooked me with the Paul Virlio quote: "The invention of the ship, was the invention of the shipwreck" on Choose You.
I love that Album.

And "The Maze" on ABMTTS is so good the way it builds from nothing.
It's also kind of ironic that as a vinyl collector I'm addicted to a song with they lyric "There's nothing I've got when I die that I keep."

I'm out really familiar with Stupid Dream, Light Bulb Sun, In Absentia era. In Absentia is probably a top 10 all time album for me.

All brilliant albums. The Incident is really good. And Fear of a Blank Planet is one of their best. How heavy it gets is a departure but keep in mind, SW had a produced a couple Opeth albums by that point

Signify and Up the Downstair are my two fave but that’s tied into about the time I got into them

Dark Matter is a killer ending to an album

I may have actually bought The Incident and Fear of a Blank Planet on CD when they came out. I haven't listened in a while so maybe it's time to revisit.

Along with "The Silence", "The Maze" is truly one of my favorite tracks ♥ off the album and from Manchester Orchestra's discography.
