Really looking forward to it! I ordered the comp and the album through BBE (cheap posting with me being in the UK) when they announced it. Came to £25 per item which I think is pretty good, especially considering its a 3lp set!I pre-ordered the compilation + the album on Amazon

I think $35 is the most anyone should have to pay for ANY new record that isn't of audiophile quality. Im in the same position as you, hovering over the set, but the postage for me (being in the UK) is $33 on its own

I can wait just like I did for OutKast. I’m in no rush to own Chance on vinyl, I have a hard time believing he couldn’t have pressed these up years ago but wants everyone (people who may not have liked Coloring Book) to be interested in that upcoming project. Happy a bunch of you are going to have the LPs finally though.

I’d say gouge for someone on a major now. Independent rap releases sometimes get to double of this as of late.

Probably a bit but if it does turn out to be a VMP production $35 seems about “in line” like $28 for the VMP price gouge then Chance has to get his taste. I mean with shipping, the terrible “Acid Rap” boot I purchased from digital-vinyl a few years ago was probably right around $40 so there are s a market for it.

And what’s to say that if VMP gets them, they won’t want like $40-45 for them - seeing what they’ve wanted for the their Hi-5 series. These have been on the wishlist for a long time for many, so I don’t anticipate VMP being affordable copies given their track record.
They do look quite nice though a little spendy. Happy for those who have been waiting forever for them though!

Copped acid rap and coloring book. Definitely expensive, but figured this might go the way of Frank Ocean's Blonde.
