Pre-Order Thread

Not to go all FOMO here, but I wouldn't underestimate the Handsome Johnny Fan Club, this will be gone soon. I agree with @Twentytwo about that DVD, that would be a plus to own. Margo Price and Nathaniel Rateliff, who also have devoted fanbases, will also be seeking this one out. It's a great collection of music.

Down to 1425 copies. Selling at a very good clip for the $50 price tag.

This is real nice. If I didn't already have this one The Mountain Goats – All Eternals Deck (2011, Clear, 180g, Vinyl), I'd probably pick it up. Don't know if I really need a zine interview too. It's very tempting though.

This is an awful lot of fun. Also, I really need to learn this dance.

I hope they are doing a follow up that is out of bounds like when Public Image Ltd went from the self-titled album to Metal Box in terms of style and performance. Just go for it man! Make it complex and something that we can sit on and digest slowly and let it grow organically.

i absolutely love all of their music videos. not sure if they use the same choreographer on all their videos but they are all so good. the band is incredible live too. just a giant dance party. i miss live shows :(
They’ve announced tour dates. We saw them at Union Transfer in Philly last time, they’re playing the Fillmore this Oct. I would much rather see them at a smaller venue again, but their shows always such fun.

That's a wildly enjoyable music video.

Think I have seen them 5 times now. Saw them at venues as small as Mercury Lounge in NYC and at places as big as a one day festival at Forest Hills and everything in between. They might be one of my favorite bands to see live in terms of upbeat dancy music!

Back when MTVLive used to be Palladia, we'd watch it every weekend and were blown away by their performances at Glasto as well as a few other fests. Union Transfer has a capacity of about 1,200, that's the smallest stage I've seen them on. I would have loved to see them at the Mercury Lounge! That must have been such fun.

We also saw them at ACL in 2018 (flew down to see The National at Stubb's and attend day 1 of the festival) They played one of the smaller stages, but still drew a pretty good sized crowd. Big Thief & Father John Misty also played the same stage that day - it was an amazing day of live music. Hopefully, it won't be too much longer til I get to a show.

RIP Palladia. Another channel ruined by MTV.
