My understanding was 2018 loveless and isn't anything were not AAA but digital source. I can't find anything on that now thoughDifferent how? My understanding was that the 2018 reissues already were AAA.

Close. It's actually relish black wax, not embellished. Relish is MBV's favorite condiment. The record will be soaked upon arrival, and can only be cleaned with your mouth. So just to get this right, the old MBV was gatefold heavy weight tip on colored wax and the new one is AAA embellished black wax with one side pressed at GZ and the other side pressed at Pallas, includes facsimile autograph insert.

Fun fact: you can prepare for the release by dousing your current collection in the tasty pickled treat!View attachment 93900
That’s it, I’m in! I can no longer resist!
Pretty sure that was the 2016 live version where it was actually the entire studio album but just with the addition of one live track at the end. Also, this will be the first of MBV's releases to be certified kosher.
Edit: But it looks like this certification is only for the deluxe!
I am no longer that gullible BUT this does remind me of the time in 7th grade that a group of “cool kids” convinced me I could get the scratches out my CD’s by microwaving them.Fun fact: you can prepare for the release by dousing your current collection in the tasty pickled treat!
Noob here. What is AAA and “tip on”?The Deluxe 2021 are the same as the 2018. AAA tip-on gatefolds. The new standard edition are different. The new 2021 MBV should be fairly similar to the 2013 as the 2013 pressing was AAA but the jacket is different and the 2013 comes with the CD.

AAA is all analog sourcing of the recording which some record collector (especially audiophiles) prefer.Noob here. What is AAA and “tip on”?
Incase you missed out on the Fleeting Joys Despondent Transponder reissue, they are selling a few more on their band camp since so many people requested that they press more for the Diggers Factory reissue. Better get in on this now if you want one!
Sorry for the FOMO y'all... I just want to help you all out.

If you guys hold out, Kevin Shields will be putting up Deluxe Orthodox versions for pre-order at sun-down on Friday. But you can't actually check out till the Sabbath is over. And in true KS fashion the Deluxe Orthodox version won't actually ship for about a year - that is, next Pesach and not until you find the afikoman. Lastly, you'll have to listen through a hole in a sheet. Oy vey! Also, this will be the first of MBV's releases to be certified kosher.

If it's a legit Frank Ocean release I bet it'd get pretty far, but yeah this is unorthodox lolI’m trying to recall if a reissue has dominated this thread over the last 2ish years like MBV has today.
