Pre-Order Thread

New Pharmakon album called Devour up for pre-order on Sacred Bones, if that’s your thing. The new single is pretty brutal (in a good way).

Their least uncomfortable cover.

I bought an original copy of Dots & Loops with the teal and white vinyl at Rainy Day for $4 back when I lived in Olympia. It wound up at someone's house that I didn't talk to for another number of years and takes horrific care of everything. There's no way it survived. I've been pissed for at least 14 years about it. I missed this one this morning, too.
That is amazing ($4!) and unfortunate. I got lucky and was able to get the obi strip version of Mars Audiac Quintet. I will likely just try to pick up the non-obi clear versions of Dot & Loops and Emperor Tomato Ketchup either at my local store or at the Showbox when I see them this coming October. The price difference on the secondary market for a stamped piece of tape isn't worth the inflated cost. I will likely randomly refresh the duophonic page throughout the day in hopes I can pick them up for retail but if not...So it goes.

Are the clear editions popping up anywhere else besides the store??
I pre ordered from Bullmoose. Doesn't mention clear, but can always cancel if they're not and end up somewhere else.
Actually just checked again. The ones on Bullmoose now say "black vinyl". The ones in my order history from earlier don't say any color...so idk!

I ordered Emperor and Dots from Vinyl Tap but they don't have Cobra and Phases...

I was going to wait, assuming the clear would show up in US shops, but I'm not seeing them. Rough Trade US only got the Black, as did Bull Moose. So, I just went ahead and grabbed those as they seem to be sold out with all the other European sites I order from.

To be clear. I’m still buying all of the black editions if I can’t find the clear. The packages are amazing and $30 is a great price for what you get between the quality of the music and product.

These reissues should honestly be the industry standard. Kudos to Stereolab.

Plaidroom sold out of clear, too

Yeah like between the time I checked the website this AM and after I had a chance to check at lunch. Working for a living makes it hard buy records these days... but if I don’t work i can’t buy records. :)

I know Dots & Loops and Emperor Tomato Ketchup are likely their most popular titles but the previous clear reissues haven't been too hard to come by. I just looked on Discogs and you can still get a copy of Mars Audatic Quintet for around $30 (which is approximately retail) Imagine there will be plenty available soon enough I am not gonna reach for em.

Same goes for the Beatles mono reissues if they did repress them then they will likely be available everywhere soon enough.

I’m waiting for a Beatles Mono repress. I’ve been very patient.
