I really want this but I don't know how often I'd spin it since it's not a nice listen for everyone else in my household besides myself. This is The Men at their best IMO. "Bataille" is one of the best Punk riffs ever.

an incredibly special album that I remember so fondly from when it was released. felt like a real gut punch to what was going on in music.
 
Not sure if anyone around here is interested, but Kirby is crowdfunding her 2020 debut EP, Sis. An excellent soul and funk project, produced and backed by Homer Steinweiss and The Menahan Street Band (which features members of Holy Hive, The Dap Kings, Antibalas, Budos Band, The El Michaels Affair etc). Limited to 200 copies, less than 100 remain.

I already own it or I would buy it. The Men are one of my favorites. I love how diverse their discography is. Every album almost sounds like a different band yet every album is a fantastic listen.
