Pre-Order Thread

This sounds like beef and cheese. It doesn't sound like Santa.

Those plants don’t even look like real christmas trees.
A 30th anniversary of Mudhoney’s Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge is up for preorder at Sub Pop Megamart…
I’m not familiar with this album but the whole “deserves fudge” thing is throwing me off. It’s way better than “does fine”, but I wasn’t aware that there were other mnemonics for the lines in the treble clef. Now that I’m googling this, apparently in the UK, it’s “deserves favour.” And there are other ones, too. Why is this so upsetting, haha? Oof, my head hurts.

Deserves fudge is how we learned growing up. This was in Indiana.

Less of a preorder, more like an old preorder that turned into an active order, but it’s limited. We talked about this green Jens Lekman “When I Said I Wanted to Be Your Dog,” once upon a time, but this is the first retail listing I saw:

This came in the mail for me yesterday and I was extremely upset to learn that the Vinyl Version of the album is missing the best song on the album "Maple Leaves" and has a slightly different track order than the CD/Digital album

Indie store variant

yup there's two versions, there's a single/7" version that's missing the strings in the one I linked that's on that comp, and the one that's on the CD version of the first album. I have always liked the album/non-single version better.

On that compilation, it has the two versions as the first and last track. I looked it up on Discogs and saw that in Sweden and Norway, "Maple Leaves" was on his first album, but not in North America, which is why my copies have the song on the comp and not the album.

Edit: Just need to add that it is a FANTASTIC song.
