I just got in a big paycheque so I think I am finally going to start down this colemine rabbit hole. I've been following some of their releases for a while (love that Kelly Finnigan) but havent been able to pick any up on vinyl yet.

I ordered a purple/green starburst AFI record from Newbury, and got a record that was 99% green with a few faint streaks of purple.

It more like a slow persistent leak...just get on the Colemine email list and hit the buy link every few weeks when a new preorder pops up. .

That's disappointing. Mine looked a lot better than that.

Of all people, Newbury should be aware of the importance of the colors on these limited edition vinyls considering it's their whole online business model.

I'm not so sure they're aware of the importance of customer service. I never really needed to involve their customer service until I had something shipped to Canada, and boy did I get a "we don't give a shit" response. They charged like $15 for shipping to Canada with no tracking and it took a month to get here. I sent an earnest email about other companies and their shipping practices to Canada and I got no response whatsoever. It really soured me on them and I now avoid them unfortunately.
