Historically, it's all been through Burning Shed or official UK store; but who knows w/ a different record label. So are we going to see an official US store for PT preorder?
If you ever figure out the logic behind what and when MoFi presses *anything* I’ve got a shiny quarter for you.Someone at MoFi must really like Iron Butterfly given all the past albums they could have used the backed up limited presses for….but it’s In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida baby.
Jeff Parker’s Forfolks a new album of solo guitar works—will be released on December 10, 2021 via International Anthem and Nonesuch Records. The albumincludes interpretations of Thelonious Monk’s “Ugly Beauty” and the standard “My Ideal,” plussix original compositions including "Four Folks" (a tune first written by Parker and recorded in 1995) and "La Jetée" (a tune he recorded with Isotope 217 in 1997 and with Tortoise in 1998). The four totally new original compositions are loop-driven, stratiform works that marry melodic improvisation with electronic textures. The album was recorded by Graeme Gibson at Sholo Studio in Altadena, California (aka Jeff’s house) over two days in June 2021.

Yea I had the 3LP in both the PT official store cart and the Burning Shed. I went w/ BS only 'cause it was like $5 less and with tracked/insured shipping (they give you a few options and I chose that one - the most expensive).Yes. I was watching it then got busy at work. Blue 2lp looks to be sold out at the moment at PT store.
Burning Shed was showing out of stock on 3lp Clear and 2lp EU Indie Wht last I checked. So, I Decided I didn’t want to chance missing the clear 3lp vinyl box and grabbed one from PT store.
FWIW, Norman was still showing preorder stock on Indie 2lp white.
PT is a top ten band for me so I’m willing to get another version if one pops up closer to home like a 2lp US indie version.
Shipping damage is always a potential problem so I’ll have to decide how lucky I feel vs added cost if a US distro shows up for 3lp box.
Looking for this found me plopping down some money on this:New Jeff Parker incoming, this one via an International Anthem - Nonesuch partnership. The cool mint vinyl variant is up for pre-order on Rough Trade. I'm guessing we will see more info later tonight and in the a.m.
