I love CDs too but unless Adele and Taylor Swift put out albums again this year sales aren't going to increase. Last year was a single blip in a decade-plus trend.CDsnever went away, they just weren't a popular format anymore but that has started to change last year with an increase in sales, and I expect sales to go up
again this year as they are far more affordable and superior in sound to the likes of Spotify. That is why I bought myself a CD transport so I can enjoy my CD collection again, and purchase albums thar are otherwise too rich for my blood on vinyl.
I've already begun positioning vinyl as a sub-hobby. Going to stay mildly engaged but buying something once a quarter instead of once a week.
