I think the counterfeit version I got sounded pretty good - it was almost like they got some original plates for it...it sounded better than the CD if I am remembering right - I haven't listened to it since the MOV is just as good, if not slightly better.
I'd be interested if this Waxwork is gonna be from the same plates as the MOV...but I don't think they've ever repressed another labels release so far.

I have the CD, but I didn't care much for the soundtrack in general other than the NIN and MM songs. I was looking at the Waxwork website and there's a lot of cool stuff there.

They usually do mostly scores - but they have done a few "soundtracks" - releases w/ actual songs. My favorite is their expanded Manhunter soundtrack.
Their extended Cruising is good to - for the bonus Germs tracks. And they've done quite a few Rob Zombie soundtracks and however you feel about his movies - the music he uses in his films is pretty good.

They have been hinting “any day now”. I had that thought too that it hasn’t even gone on sale yet so I’ll keep my eye out. But by the time you add shipping, it’s probably going to be close to $15-20 more for the color variant.
