Ugh, it sure is.The Hey Jude here is an absolute train wreck.
I bought this second hand on cogs and like it overall, but I usually skip this monstrosity of a cover.

The cost of these box sets is killing me.A rich bounty for all you Gentle Giant fans:

Why is this one always so expensive? It's only a 3xLP set. Their 5xLP sets usually retail for around the same price.
I think it's because it's a Friday Music release and they think they're better than they are.
That's VMP Anthology pricing! The cost of these box sets is killing me.
I own one Friday Music pressing, and it’s quite good. Yes - The Yes AlbumYOMV but FWIW I've was really dissatisfied with sound quality/mastering on the couple Friday Music releases I bought 5 or 6 yrs back. So I avoid them now. Of course they may have gotten better. There sure are a lot of Friday Music releases that keep popping up... so someone must like them. Opinions can vary.
A couple of the ones I own are good too, but a couple are not. Just a lack of consistency imo. I've heard that the Best of Dead set they put out is excellent.I own one Friday Music pressing, and it’s quite good. Yes - The Yes Album
