LITA is a mixed bag for sure.

Yup! This is why I won't pre-order much from them unless it's at risk of quickly selling out or something and then I just let other people test it first

Things like Bobby Charles, Wendy Rene, Country Funk, Betty Davis, Nancy Sinatra etc. that i've gotten after release are all really good/great pressings.

I almost got burnt bad recently buying the Goblin box set they had (or maybe they just simply got an exclusive variant?) but with the cost I decided to wait and sure enough people were all pissed off about the quality of several of the albums inside.

New James Brandon Lewis incoming. Early copies include his sax + string quartet performance, which is stunning. He played me some of this Mahalia album when I met him last year and it was fabulous.

Yeah I'm still bummed about that Goblin box. It was on sale pretty cheap a few places but the reviews were so bad I couldn't pull the trigger.

That quite randomly appears to be just both versions. So you the original white cover with the black vinyl album.

Then you get the black new cover with the original album on white vinyl and the funky 10” live ep.

I think I’ll stick with just the 2LP, don’t need the original coloured cover that much!
