So how many exclusive variants are we going to end up with?
FML
Mentally or physically? She doesn't look pretty fine in this picture though not going to lie.
And then Taylor released a Ryan Adam's 1989 (Taylor's Ryan's Taylor's Version)I know he's gross but I would get a pretty good laugh if Ry*n *d*ms released a 1989 (Ry*n's Taylor's Version).
Monetarily.Mentally or physically?
I don’t know if there is enough Swiftees on here to really answer this question but here it goes:
What is the consensus on these “Taylor’s Version” releases? Do most prefer the OGs or are the new recordings now the definitive version of these tracks? Are there substantial differences between the two versions? I know diehards probably have both the originals and new versions in their collection but I would assume they would still have a preference, especially if there are substantial differences between the versions.
People have feelings, my dude. I mistakenly asked this to a group of Swiftie friends. I can’t recall any of them. But there were a lot.I don’t know if there is enough Swiftees on here to really answer this question but here it goes:

I know she changed the lyrics in one of the songs on Speak Now to something a little less harsh when referring to another woman. My wife wasn’t a fan of that. If you’re gonna re-record, best to stay true to the source material.I don’t know if there is enough Swiftees on here to really answer this question but here it goes:

There are a quite a few about the sound and actual performances too. I know a couple people had very specific thoughts about how she slightly changed delivery on a few lines etc. as well.Yes. I just forwarded @TenderLovingKiller®'s inquiry to my sister and got this response

I understand why she is doing it and clearly she is still at the height of her talents. I have seen where older musicians re-recorded their hits later in life due to rights disputes but usually by that point the artists were a bit past their prime sound more like covers than what you were hoping for. With Taylor, I could imagine that some of her new recordings could actually sound better, especially with regards to her earliest albums; I would assume her now having full artistic control and world class production would potentially breath new life into this earlier albums. That being said if someone had been a fan since the beginning and grew up listening to those early albums, I could imagine that the differences might not be something that a fan would enjoy. Then when you get into here later albums where she seemingly already had completely creative control and world class production these recorded albums seem like they would be a bit superfluous.People have feelings, my dude.
