Pre-Order Thread

I think PIAPTK also does all of the lathe cuts that Joyful Noise Recordings puts out
Also, has anybody ordered from this site before?
Oh, and as for PIAPTK, I don't know a lot about it, but @Dead C turned me on to the site when he (they? he?) released a Dead Meadow lathe cut not too long ago. And then @Dead C was kind enough to send me a copy of this, which was super cool.

I know Mike Dixon who runs PIAPTK and he's definitely the one who does all of the crazy lathe cuts for Joyful Noise. He was hired to do some event for Justin Timberlake where he cut a live lathe cut behind him during some televised performance, too. He's an expert at that shit, so he flies around teaching people or... I don't know exactly, but he's always traveling. He's like the king of the lathe cuts, so people like Dead Meadow or Devendra Banhart will often ask him to do small runs for tour merch and he's kind of the got to for a lot of that stuff. He also did some crazy release for The Flaming Lips like that a number of years ago. He lives in Tucson.

Some of you might remember that Money Mark reissue that was posted on here earlier in the year. He put that out, too.

Here's a super crazy thing he did for Dale Crover on Joyful Noise

Is UDiscover the same thing as Sound of Vinyl?

Not a preorder...but more copies of Mac DeMarco's This Old Dog Demos from RSD got released.

It's up on his bandcamp too:

Whoa! How did this one sneak up with a November 1st release date?

I have that Crover cymbal...it's awesome! I didn't realize it was cut by the same guy, though it totally makes sense that he would

The Band looks to be a 2xLP there isn't much info though, I am assuming it is a 45 RPM Remaster/Repress similar to "Music from the Big Pink". It's completely normal to buy the same record 3 times if it is one of your favorites....Right? Also They have The Band in Black Vinyl too. for $4 cheaper. I will probably go that route.
