the real tragedy of limp bizkit is that wes borland is a really good guitarist, inventive and quirky and he does all sorts of ridiculous shit, and sadly he's got the albatross of fred durst around his neck (although in fairness fred does seem to have slightly turned down the douchiness in his old age. "Dad Vibes" is some funny shit, and I don't think the Fred of the 90s would have been able to have been both that self aware and self effacing in a real good humor kind of way.)

I was at a packed bar in the mountains over Labor Day weekend and all the patrons randomly broke into “Margaritaville” when someone played it on the jukebox following Jimmy’s death. It was a weird wonderful experience.
