Pre-Order Thread

No problem! I'm pumped and will be buying 2 as well just in case (I've bought two of every UO Britney exclusive so far).

Just hoping the actual release date is sometime sometime in November, Im going to Nashville 10/30-11/3 and dont want this long awaited record to arrive while Im out of state.
DAMN. You rich b!tch!!!

It will definitely be after November. Destiny’s Child Writing On The Wall still hasn’t shipped yet!

Lol, yeah I have a good bit of expendable income (2 income, no children house) and enjoy spending on stuff I like (Vinyl, Food, Travel).

Im hoping the turnaround is long but In the Zone was like 3 weeks or something. If thats the case Blackout would be coming right when WotW is released (which I also obviously pre-ordered too). Whatever, that's a future problem. For now, I'm just pumped Blackout is finally coming.

OMG. @wynn72 - you posted the other tweet as well, which tells you that it is 10am EST! 🤦‍♂️

Omg, I’m so dumb! I just woke up and I’m so out of it, but am so excited 😂🥴

Thanks again! ♥😃

Why is Blackout such a coveted Britney record? I don't listen to Britney Spears so I'm clueless here. Among fans, is this considered her best all around record or something? I became curious about the buzz and the hype in the UO tweet after noticing that only one song off this album is in her top-10 streamed tracks on spotify, for example.

The title track and 3 others were produced and co-written by 2/3 of Miike Snow. They were also behind the song "Toxic." That's why that shit is so infectious

Oh word! I saw Miike Snow touring their self-titled album as an opening band at a venue in Cambridge, MA in 2009 and they absolutely killed it for the like 150 person capacity club. Maybe I'll have to listen to Blackout. Do you know which tracks on Blackout they co-wrote?

Yeah, its definitely considered to be her best album. And it was a huge influence in pop music in terms of that club influenced dance-pop sound.

Actually, sorry... not the title track -- there isn't one.

They did "Radar," and it looks like "Piece Of Me," "Freakshow," and "Toy Soldier"

Ohhhhh, true! I think I took Sean Garrett’s words literally when he said that at the start of the song! 🙈

Because I know he did a demo of the track as well, so I was like “100% he wrote and produced the track”.

But that was not the case! 😂🤭

He's listed as co-writer, but it seems that you can't have American pop music without Swedish men writing it.

Next batch of Run Out Grooves titles up for voting. Rank & File (80s), Rollerskate Skinny (90s) and The Donnas (00s)
Definitely went for Rollerskate Skinny.
