Am I the only person growing up that thought the lead singer of Mr. Big was a female? I was a 11 when this song came out and had no idea Mr. Big was all dudes till later in life. The video was not in 4k on my color television in 1991.

I almost wanna make a playlist of those early 90s hair metal ballads that were popular just before Alternative culture went mainstream

It would have:

Mr. Big - “Be With You”
Extreme - “More Than Words”
Damn Yankees - “High Enough”
Nelson “(Can’t Live Without Your) Love & Affection”

I bet there is more terribleness I could add if I poke around and thought about it a bit more.

I mean I’ll admit that when Firehouse broke back in the day I was like why is Mike Watt making power ballads? Then I saw the video and went, well Mike Watt should sue. Then I figured that’s why they had the reverse capitalization.
