Can someone explain the Blood Records thing to me?

Do they just do gimmicky pressing and charge premium for them? They seem to be buzzy around d portion of the internet but the appeal escapes me. Are the pressed well are they just a neat color?

Ran by the guy that started the former 7" inch club Flying Vinyl. They are really popular with the the influencers. I only own one pressing from them and the quality control and shipping was less than desirable in my opinion. Lately been doing a ton of zoetropes with really popular artists. I think they recently outsourced their shipping to Rough Trade so that should help. Pressings to the states are usually $60 plus shipped so unless it is an artist that you really care about, I wouldn't go out of my way.
