Yeah, I was surprised to get a $4.50 refund. Nice that they proactively did that.

Good on them for proactively doing that. Can you imagine the bad press if they didn't? Racking in close to a million dollars on inflated shipping costs?

Honestly, I didn't really blink an eye at the $14 shipping since I figured they would have to pack it well and it's coming FedEx - but $9.50 sounds even better!

The Conversation is an awesome movie for anyone that hasn’t already seen it

I went through a “70s Watergate political thriller” phase a few years back and watched The Conversation, The Parallax View and Three Days of The Condor, That seems like a shitty time for the country but man did it make for some fantastic cinema.

Another good Watergate movie is Dick with Kirsten Dunst and Michelle Williams.

I went through a “70s Watergate political thriller” phase a few years back and watched The Conversation, The Parallax View and Three Days of The Condor, That seems like a shitty time for the country but man did it make for some fantastic cinema.

While painfully obvious, I can’t not plug All the President’s Men to that list. I just love that movie. …Condor was an interesting watch, Parallax I don’t think I’ve seen.

Also, if anyone hasn’t, Klute. Which, when I went to check the date (1971) is apparently by the same director as All… and Parallax!

Oh yeah All The Presidents Men is outstanding. Klute is great too, but if we are going that route we should add The Long Goodbye to the list Elliott Gould is so much fun in that one.
