Pre-Order Thread

Thanks peeps, been meaning to pick this up and didn't know there was any represses or exclusivos! Has anyone ordered from Slow Down Sounds? Ordered from Plaid Room a decent amount but I'm digging this variant.

Not sure if this is what you're asking about, but the Plaid Room exclusive has the Slow Down Sounds logo on the cover, so it should be similar in terms of quality.

So, are Amazon and the overseas web store going to be the only outlets for To Bring You My Love? It seemed like everyone and their brother carried the previous releases immediately upon announcement.

Acoustic Sounds

Music Direct

Music Direct had it advertised for pre-order on one of their recent newsletters; so I figured AS was also selling it, which is the case. I imagine you'll see more places putting it up as it gets closer to release date. They both also have the demos up.

Was just about to post this. Kind of a meh variant, but I'm anticipating a VMP exclusive this week considering What Now went like gangbusters a few years back.

(Also up on their site here: PREORDER: Free Love (Limited Edition Colored LP) | Ambient Inks)

I'm all in on a new Sylvan Esso release. So people know, the local record store variant will be Sky Blue Opaque, which I prefer to coke bottle clear. I'm gonna go with that from my local record store. Here is their link if you're interested.

Peter Gabriel's live albums are being reissued as half-speed masters: Peter Gabriel’s live albums set for vinyl reissue

At the moment, both Target and Amazon (and possibly other retailers) have two of these titles (Plays Live, and Live in Athens 1987) listed at $17.29, and each of these is a double album, "remastered at half-speed and cut to lacquers at 33RPM by Matt Colton at Alchemy Mastering" (from the article linked above). Crazy good deal? or am I missing something here.

Same price at Amazon as well.

I'm happy enough with my old copy of Peter Gabriel plays live, but I couldn't buy that 1987 Athens album fast enough. I check every morning to see if Target lists Secret World and Growing Up. I can't believe how low the retail prices are on these!

I think a bunch of the other half-speeds have been cheap from Peter Gabriel too but some have gone out of print I think and have gone up in price. I have the half-speed of So en route to me now.

After Echo Mountain Sessions and their last live album, I don't think I can handle SE without the full band now.
