Just a heads up for Jazz friends:
Ella - The Lost Berlin Tapes is now up for pre-order on Amazon (Canada)
Ryo Fukui - in New York and A Letter from Slowboat (We Release Jazz pressings) are also up for pre-order on Amazon (Canada)
Damn $41 for the Fukui is pricy. Maybe I will pickup one of them and pretend it is my VMP Classics ROTM.

I can survive with the standard black, which I don't think will be too limited. I think I will wait a bit to see how the finances are looking in September.
I think the black also comes with a book thing. I would totally grab it if it did. I guess that would be a cool addition to these songs because they're by really obscure bands. But I'm just thinking of shelf space and how that would probably be taking up at least 1 or 2 more single LP's space.

I have records/45s by about 10 of the bands so I am pretty excited. I have a few Captured Track re-issues (Luna boxset and a few Flying Nun titles) and they do a nice job. My guess is that it will be the size of a triple gatefold.

Easy solution to the space issue, buy more storage. Then you don't have to worry for a few more months. ;)

Very nice. Matches the cover art sorta.

I just got mine last week (maybe two weeks ago now?) and mine was super warped. Couldn’t even play the first track. Inner tracks were better but I wasn’t a fan of the mastering. Maybe I’m just used to the Kevin Gray master. This one had no bass and just sounded tinny and dull (I understand that’s sort of how this should sound but I’m still not a fan). YMMV the color is pretty close to mockups though.

@Endtro posted a shot of the wax on the “What’s Spinning” thread if you want to see the actual wax.

Seconded, I chased down the Kevin Gray version and I am very happy with it, it sounds great.

Thanks for mentioning this. I don't own a copy yet so I'll do my research on it.
