Soul Step Announces the repress of SSR-058!

After the success that Bendigo Fletcher has seen under their new contract with Elektra Records all of the releases we did with the band quickly sold out. Demand continues for these releases so we are back with another Bendigo Fletcher re-press to meet the loud demands to get these records back in print.

Soul Step Records proudly announces the repressing of SSR-058, Bendigo Fletcher’s newest release, “Memory Fever.” This LP is an incredible release full of Kentucky fried Indie Folk.

Bendigo Fletcher, for fans of early My Morning Jacket, Nathaniel Rateliff and The Fleet Foxes. “Memory Fever” will slowly carry you and your troubles away from the moment you drop the needle on the turntable. Full of lush harmonies with steady strumming guitars. This is a perfect album for anyone wanting music that makes them feel Kentucky Bluegrass underneath their feet. Come tap in and see why we are having to re-press this record.

Available to Soul Step Subscribers on November 23rd and to the general public on November 25th or following a limited edition vinyl sellout.

Green vinyl limited to 300 copies.
@avecigrec @Corycm @Hemotep and whoever else loves DBT, Patterson and Cooley.
And here I thought I might make it through the next week or two without a preorder.
Tracklist looks awesome as well. Seeing DBT for the first time on Sunday, something I should have done a long time ago.
I should remedy this too

Message from Patterson:

Y’all,
I am thrilled to announce my new solo album Exploding Trees & Airplane Screams. It is my first solo album in nearly 13 years and has been a labor of love to make.
I recorded the majority of it back in January (during an ice storm) up here in Portland. My dear friend Chris Funk (Decemberists, Portugal the Man, etc.) produced it.

It is a collection of songs, often based around my childhood and coming of age, mostly written over the past decade. Somehow very different from the albums I make with my band, yet somehow seeming very much part of the universe our band inhabits. I wrote a lot of it on piano. It features a plethora of analogue synthesizers, woodwinds, baritone sax, even a flute on one song. It also features guest appearances from some very dear friends including Waxahatchee (Katie Crutchfield), Kevin Morby, Wednesday (Karly Hartzman, MJ Lenderman & Xandy Chelmis), Steve Berlin, Stuart Bogie, Kyleen King, Dan Hunt, Nate Query, Brad & Phil Cook, Steve Drizos, Jay Gonzalez, Brad Morgan, and David Barbe.

The first single (out today) is A Werewolf and a Girl. A duet between myself and Lydia Loveless. That song was written about my high school girlfriend, juxtaposing our falling in love and breaking up (like in the movie Blue Valentine) from both points of view.
