I'm just seeing this thread for the first time, but I'm super pissed at how low some of you Sonic Youth fans rated EVOL :ROFLMAO: Mine has some hot takes too:

Probably not super controversial, I like New Adventures and Reveal more than most and probably Document and Out of Time a little less. They're my favorite rock band of all time, so I like the later albums a fair amount as well.

I was more of a Whitecross/Holy Soldier guy. Probably because after Being introduced to Metallica I couldn’t take Christian Thrash seriously, but the Whitecross and Holy Soldier were more Hard Rock than Metal/Thrash. Then ...And Justice for all was released and I was basically done with “Christian Metal”

i preferred the Christian new wave (Undercover, Lifesavers/LSU, etc), but I did like Christian thrash too, like Deliverance and Tourniquet. Oh, and The Crucified were a favorite too. Ever listen to the hair metal side of things, like Shout? They sure were catchy, lol.

Shout! I had their first release on cassette. They were the Winger of the CM scene. I haven’t thought about them in ages. Undercover were great. Did you get in on the Balance of Power reissue?

Lol I saw Shout at Knott’s Berry Farm. Their hair was HUGE. I did order the Balance of Power reissue, yeah. While I wasn’t a huge fan of it at the time (Branded was their best, IMO), I am excited to listen to it with fresh ears.
