Ask me tomorrow, and this could shift, though I possibly would move EM up a notch.

I really like "Bleed Out" but I need time with it before I can rank it better. I have specific memories attached to both "In League With Dragons" and "Goths" that, even though they may be slightly worse albums than "Bleed Out", I like them better because of that.

Julia Jacklin
  1. Don't Let the Kids Win
  2. Pre Pleasure
  3. Crushing

I love the Gorillaz but only because the original S/T is one of my favorite albums of all time but as for their complete discography, I'm not all that enamored with. I do try to check out each album in hopes of being blown away but most of the time, it's just a general good listen... The first 2 being the exception - but I have a feeling because its due to the production and influence of Dan the Automator & Danger Mouse.

1. Gorillaz
2. Demon Days
3. Laika Come Home
4. Humanz
5. The Now Now
6. Plastic Beach
7. The Fall

I haven't had time to absorb Song Machine

  1. Gorillaz
  2. Demon Days
  3. Plastic Beach
  4. Strange Timez
  5. Humanz
  6. The Fall
  7. The Now Now
Obviously I have some level of affection for all of them, though. I go back and forth between the debut and Demon Days being my favorite, it really just depends on the day. My take is that I like several of the individual songs on the self-titled album more, but Demon Days is a better put-together project as a whole.

I’m not you.

It’s a disjointed mess with too many collaborations and doesn’t flow to me.
I was pretty much done with Gorillaz after Plastic Beach. I think I preferred the band more when Damon was collaborating with talented Hip-Hop producers. Everything aftet Demon Days is pleasant enough but is missing something that this first two album had. I also prefer their debut to Demon Days so my opinion probably isn’t worth much to most.

And Song Machine DOESN'T have too many collaborations???

Song machine is a collection of singles and it’s all killer no filler. It’s almost like a singles collection.

Plastic Beach, like Humanz, is just a mess to my ears. It really put me off Gorillaz for a good few years.
