The Meadowlands was on a different label than the first two and I think the band actually has the rights to it. Which normally would be a good thing, except that the Wrens don't really do anything quickly. It was Absolutely Kosher, who has been defunct for a decade, I don't know which label would actually release it. (I don't know if Sub Pop's deal with them allows them the rights to the Meadowlands).

Yeah, it seems like Whelan and Bissell both have a good working relationship with Sub Pop, hoping maybe they could be an intermediary in getting a Meadowlands reissue released. I think Sub Pop could also give the album the quality reissue it deserves.
 
completely random and not even an anniversary, but I want someone to start pressing Call of Duty soundtracks onto vinyl. Having the WaW, BO1, and MW2 soundtracks on vinyl would be legendary. those soundtracks were such a large part of my early gaming years.

I want them to do the ost's for the og halo trilogy. They've put out the anniversary versions of 1 and 2 but never 3 and they're not as good as the real thing

This was repressed this last year on pink vinyl, shouldn't be too hard to get now. I think there's a black press too. Check ipecac and the bandcamp page. Amphetamine reptile records keeps doing the b-sides from the original 7" (album was originally released as a bunch of 7"s iirc) but they sell out immediately

My guess at the title but in keeping with the pattern of Miles Davis and the last couple/few RSDs, coupled with the 50th anniversary of On the Corner, this wouldn't surprise me in the least - regardless of what they call it.

I don’t really chase after video game soundtracks, but those would be awesome to have. I used to have the soundtracks to 1 and 2 on CD and listened to the crap outta them.

i think they're hard to find/expensive now but the anniversary versions of 1 and 2 scratch the itch. just could be better. i asked someone who works on the merch team why the ost's aren't on vinyl and he said he tries to stay away from music as much as he can because licenses are such a nightmare and even more so now because the halo 1-3 was made by bungie vs the new ones being 343.
