While checking out, Dude said he’d ordered 100 copies of The Royal Tenenbaums OST but only ended up with 18 copies, wonder if it was just my LRS or if it’s a bit more limited.

The local store I was going to hit up this afternoon for The Royal Tenenbaums only got one copy . I'm not sure how many he ordered.

Isn’t soul jazz an import label? Pretty sure they are done by the label at Sounds of the Universe in London but I could be totally wrong about that…

Got to my local around 6ish. Was 8th in line. Definity smaller turnout for the overrun dates. The only thing I wasn't able to snag on my wish list was the Bobby Hamilton. Hopefully I'll find it online tomorrow. Happy hunting everyone.

Got the two I wanted, and ran into @Matt M who was finishing up. Freddie was a must, and I have high hopes for this Studio One comp. Was also surprised to find the 3xLP Strut reissue of Mulatu of Ethiopia, which had been on my list for a while.

Just got done listening to the Esther Marrow. Fan-fucking-tastic. I wasn't too familiar with her music prior. Strong Aretha vibes and there are a couple of really fun funky tracks too. The pressing and mastering is A+ as you would expect from RTI and KG.
