If anyone has anything that I'm missing, give me a rec. Not feeling a lot of must haves. I'll probably still go, I love to hang out with some buddies that day and wander the store. A couple things look interesting, but not for the prices. Below are the prices I'm seeing at one local, my spot is usually a few bucks cheaper. The prices make taking a chance on something a little less likely.

Rockfords - $46
Soul Asylum - $36
Brownout - $41
Nuggets Box - $100
Orville Peck - $42
Sparks - $37

Does anyone know where I can (if I can) in the US get the UK RSD release of Tricky's "Pre-millenium tension" ?

Alternately if it's a true exclusive or will have a wider release after RSD?

For me RSD 2023 begins and ends with P.M. Dawn. Hopefully that's something that will be available online afterwards. That's the one that I'll be kicking myself hard if i miss.

OK, and maybe the Nuggets box.

I'm ambivalent too this year. Didn't see much to my liking. Though I'd always pick-up a Jazz Dispensary compilation if I come across it (unfortunately missed the last few, but they're always top notch). They remind me a lot of the old Pulp Fusion series I loved back during the late 90's and early 2000's.

Anybody know what the go-to audiophile-ish records are expected to be this year (like KPG cuts, AAA pressings, etc)?

I haven’t looked closely at RSD this year. I know there’s a Chet Baker AAA Mono cut that should be awesome. First time it’s been reissued in mono since it first came out i think. If I see any other KG/AAA stuff will keep y’all posted

I don't have any inside information, but this is a Wargod release. In the past, they released follow-up pressings (on different color vinyl) after their RSD editions sell out. Give them a follow if you don't get one.
