Brr. 20° and I was still #11 in line this morning. Missed the Rilo Kiley, sold out somewhere in the 10 people before me, so going to be hunting that one tomorrow. Kahan also sold out before my turn came up. But grabbed both JTEs and the Gram Parsons, so 2 outta 3 ain’t bad.

I hate Record Store Day in the fact that they seemingly press limited numbers of stuff that everybody wants. 5,000 copies is nothing for this EP. I live at least 50 minutes from my closest record store day store, so it’s a tall ask to drive into the city to get one thing.

I think Rilo Kiley will be reasonable. Both stores I went to had a few left.
I also read, with no proof, not all the Noah's made it out to shipping.

I missed Yuma in 2013(? I think?) and never thought about Grimeys, but it sounds great.

Justin is one of my favorites, so when I started collecting I had to get them all. Payed to much for Yuma and that was before his passing.

My local store opens at 9 and I'll be walking over in a few minutes. They have at least 6 copies of Rilo Kiley but they only got 1 Asteroid City and 1 of the Turnstile/BBNG collab.
If the line is too long, I'll probably just come home and try to get RK online tomorrow.

Went with Chico Hamilton and Jazz Dispo. They didn't get the Garcia/Grisman in, so am on the lookout for that one. Almost bit on Little Feat but for $50, the packaging left a lot to be desired - single slot for 3xLPs.
