I was surprised Sonic Youth would sign off on a hits compilation, but Starbucks? Nearly a decade and a half ago? Seems out of place entirely .

Iirc the track list was picked by famous fans and it was done by geffen during the early days of the falling apart

I looked at the list yesterday, then looked at the UK one when I figured out what the hell I was doing.

Wouldn't mind the Eek-A-Mouse record, but that was on the US list.

At The Gates would be cool, and I think I saw The Beat and some other Two-Tone / Ska stuff too, but I can't remember.

There's no participating store for miles where I am, and I don't have the money to justify jumping through hoops to get hold of a few records I sort of maybe wouldn't mind having.

Just having a normal Record Store Day

I hope not. The 12" ep is less than 20 minutes long. So at that price it is about $2 a minute

Not really! In a way, you'd think that they must be tapped out, but nope... there is an endless supply of Cure records that need picturedisking.

They’re picture disks. When they’ve finished the catalog they can start over with band pics. Then pics of instruments. Then pics of fans holding the original picture disks.
