Record Store Day 2024

Anybody pick up that Modest Mouse live album? Curious about pressing quality and sound
Spinning this now and while I can’t crank it because my wife is still asleep, it sounds fine. My copy is flat and static free after a quick cleaning. Not audiophile or anything but I also wouldn’t expect it to be. It was also cheap which felt like a victory unto itself for a Record Store Day release. Still my favorite era of this band.

A little PNW markup, but there are some items there that are a little harder to find, as well.

Thanks. The few reviews I have read have generally been positive. And cant complain about the $22 price tag. I purchased it this morning. And agree, this was their best era. Not a single "dud" on that tracklist.

Curious if anyone picked up the Engine Kid reissue and how it sounds?
I had it in hand. Hi-Voltage had two copies yesterday afternoon. The packaging almost had me pull the trigger, it’s the original artwork for Bear Catching Fish with a die cut slip that slides over the cover. It looked sharp the only reason I didn’t grab it was because I noticed it was being released by Southern Lord records which usually means that it would be repressed about a million times in a million different colors but who knows.

It's already a repress. :ROFLMAO: This was a break out from the Everything Left Inside box from 2021. The marketing on this was was sort of misleading...like they were demos. That being said it sounds excellent at 45rpm. I just got done giving it a spin. If you like Slint you will love this album.

That’s my thinking as well. Plus the fact that Canada Post is still on strike so who knows when it will get here once it hits the border
