Record Store Day 2025

Started my day off with snow. The first half your or so I was standing in line It was still snowing before changing back to rain. Nothing was sticking except for on cars.

I got in line about 7am and the store opened at 9. I got to watch a bit of a show while waiting in line. The Natural Guard is recognized as being established in Sale Massachusetts.

They were celebrating this with the annual muster of the National Guard. So right in front of us on the street while we were waiting in line we got to watch the National Guard have a private ceremony, church service, remembrance, gun salute and taps before they Marched to the common for the where the public can watch the annual muster from 9:00am to noon. I can hear the cannons they are firing now from my apartment.

I was 4th in line and got everything I wanted. Half the stuff I wanted they only had 1 copy and only ordered it because I gave them my wishlist.

Still hoping for Nathan Davis Happy Girl if anyone sees one. Simple black and white cover. I’m in line at a shop, but it doesn’t open for three hours still (small place with mostly used that keeps regular hours), and my wife wants the car this morning so … if I want a happy girl I’d be better off not waiting three more hours for a Happy Girl!!

If you're striking out on the Talking Heads live album and you still want the tunes: check the CD bins. It was unadvertised on the list, but also released on CD. Ended up saving myself over $20 and won't have to keep getting up to flip sides.
