Is the MoFi DSD? It is probably also 45rpm over 2 discs. I bet it sounds quite excellent!i just recently got the MoFi but would have gotten the Impex had I known it was coming back!
yea the MoFi is 45 x 2LP and from DSD256. It does sound excellent but I'd rather have a 33 and I really like Impex's work from what I have of theirs. Is the MoFi DSD? It is probably also 45rpm over 2 discs. I bet it sounds quite excellent!
Impex advertised this as AAA with an all-tube system. Hell, if ERC released that album it'd go for $350, right?

Limit 3 per household.ERC is now FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS i believe (plus shipping) for a 33.

These are fantasticHMV.JP is repressing the Three Blind Mice series that sold out quickly earlier this year. I have all five of these, purchased when the exchange rate was less favorable (at least in the US), and they’re excellent. If you really, really care about the best quality and are ok w 45rpm, I think the Impex of Blow Up is a slight improvement over these Craftman, but it’s close. In fact, I sold my Impex Blow Up when these arrived bc I prefer 33rpm and the small difference didn’t matter to me.
Links to each pre-order. Not sure how many they’re pressing, but they went very fast the first time around.

one of my favorite music-related books is Michael Azzerad's "Our Band Could Be Your Life" and one of the funniest bits is that each chapter is on a different band and every single band that gets signed to SST winds up with complaints about SST's bookkeeping and getting fucked on the money. So what's the story?
I was lucky enough to find a tender and loving forum member who came across 'double nickels' in a store and was willing to pick it up for me, they can be hard to findDamn. I just wanted some Minutemen records...now I feel dirty.
That book is on my 'to read' list, I've heard great things.one of my favorite music-related books is Michael Azzerad's "Our Band Could Be Your Life"

As mentioned, Jeff Tweedy of Wilco reads the chapter on Minutemen, and Michael has been revealing a few of the other narrators one by one, but now we've got our hands on the full list. They are
Corey Taylor of Slipknot (reading the Big Black chapter),
novelist Jonathan Franzen (The Corrections, reading the Mission of Burma chapter),
Laura Jane Grace of Against Me! (reading the Minor Threat chapter),
Colin Meloy of The Decemberists (reading the Husker Du chapter),
Jon Wurster of Superchunk, The Mountain Goats, and
Bob Mould (reading the Replacements chapter),
Merrill Garbus of Tune-Yards (reading the Sonic Youth chapter),
comedian/complicated drummer Fred Armisen (reading the Butthole Surfers chapter),
Sharon Van Etten (reading the Dinosaur Jr. chapter),
Stephin Merritt of Magnetic Fields (reading the Beat Happening chapter),
Phil Elverum of Mount Eerie (reading the Mudhoney chapter),
Dave Longstreth of The Dirty Projectors (reading the Black Flag chapter), and
Azerrad himself (reading the Fugazi chapter).
