I've been on a Miles Mofi kick lately, but I have an OG US pressing so I'll need to check how that one sounds before jumping.
mea culpa, I had these mixed up -- I was thinking that AS owned MDtotally different companies? MoFi is owned by Music Direct. AS is not affiliated with Music Direct or MoFi.
unless i'm mistaking the grateful dead fiasco? the GD fiasco i'm thinking of is when Acoustic Sounds restocked the AP pressings of a few Dead albums and ended up having only a few copies while vastly overselling.
Me too. I've been holding out for that one for a long ass time.Anyone heard of a potential repress from Mofi of Santana 1? Hoping it happens soon.

I jus want Org repress :[yep. Stone Flower is also excellent. I might grab Gris Gris
i think ORG lost all the licenses for those titles. They haven't done anything with those plates in forever. Sucks because they had so many great reissues and most are crazy prices now Princeton Record Exchange had the ORG recently but they don't ship.I jus want Org repress :[
Yeah, they confirmed that to me a few years back. I passed on a $15 damaged copy (dented jacket with seam splits) during this IG story sale they did during COVID. Boy was that silly.i think ORG lost all the licenses for those titles. They haven't done anything with those plates in forever. Just FYI, when SOV restocks “200 copies” usually means it’ll be available elsewhere and their limited to 200 thing is only for their stock. They do some shady language in restocks/repressed like this oneI’ve been looking for this for the past week and this popped up this morning (200 copies back in stock). Still pricey but better than what it’s been on Discogs
Also strong contenders: nels cline and David pajoI've long had an indie rock dream where Malkmus, Martsch, and Mascis do a show like this together. It would probably have to be something like Friday Night In Portland
