Can't seem to get either code to work

Edit: Nevermind. I was trying the codes on ImprtCDs not DD. Happy to have this one. Everyone's always waiting those Siamese Dream or Mellon Collie restocks. This is the one that I've been waiting for.

I always considered Adore improperly maligned. I think it's more cohesive than MC&IS. It's definitely a more mature work.

Well you have to judge Machina in its complete, double album form with the real track order, not the butchered up studio cut.
...that one I always considered properly maligned, to be honest. everything post MC has high points but (IMO) does not strive to reach the high points of something like siamese, or have the quality of something like piscies. even mellon collie -- which is amazing but at times uneven -- is really high quality and ambitious. machina is ambitious but tepid bullshit. zeitgeist was kind of bland in ambition but at least a third of it rocked really hard, so it's hard to hate on it.

Have you ever seen or heard anything from the Adore tour? The songs take on a whole new life live. It's some of the best live stuff the Pumpkins have ever done IMO.

i agree. mike garson was key (no pun intended) on that tour, and the two percussionist + aronoff drumming approach obviously gave those quiet adore songs a completely opposite feel.

i could listen to live versions of tear from that tour all day.

I still don't know why in the expansive box set they released that it didn't include any live tracks on the audio side.

Billy said Aronoff disliked playing with the 2 percussionists on that tour, that it 'drove him (Aronoff) crazy' and ' was like a LSD trip' because one would play ahead of him and one behind him, which was disorienting. He also said Garson was difficult to play with because he's so exceptional that he decided earlier in his career to never repeat a performance and just roll with the moment, so his improvising made it hard for the band to predict how he'd play his parts.

I saw them on this tour in Sunrise in Ft Lauderdale and yes, Aronoff was a real powerhouse. Jimmy being gone was the one thing that gave me real pause on adore. Chamberlain was the ticking heart of that band, although with him gone, it was another role Billy had to do, which I think is one of the reasons why post Mellon collie material is so much more uneven than pre. Note the more even attempts (Oceania, zeitgeist,) show him in full effect.
