I’m sure by now you’ve been told this is secretly a great advantage when dealing with musty jazz records!
 
I wonder how many copies of Somethin' Else and Speak No Evil they pressed this time. It appears a few hundred copies of each ended up in Korea, and they're all sold out within a few days of appearing in online stores here.

Jazz is hot here thanks to a vinyl resurgence, but speculators are running rampant, too.

And they all are waiting for Chet Baker Sings to be restocked. :)

I need both but honestly, not sure I can justify the $60 for them quite yet. The S/T is still in stock a lot of places so I’m hoping this sticks around some shops for a while, at least until I can justify the price. The three I have are exceptional, but not sure how much I’d listen to these over the S/T or Brothers in Arms.

I have Kranky’s reissues or Secret Name and Things We Lost In the Fire and both were AAA. It seems like these are just repressed of those reissues meaning they should sound excellent.

Man, I so want these -- I saw Low on the secret name tour, their last with Zak -- but 40 per record is not a thrilling price.

I think this is a wide release. Maybe check with your local to save on shipping. I didn’t mind paying $26 shipped for a double LP pressed at RTI and AAA remastered. I already had Secret Names though but had been kicking myself as I saw the price of Trust slowly rise over the years.

I found out about repress from record store in Chicago’s mailer that they were again available. They had them priced at $27 (before shipping) so when I found them $26 shipped + high quality download on Bandcamp I felt like I was getting a deal.

Yeah, another of those times where I know some records are around $25. It's that adding up shipping that somehow bothers me, even though it shouldn't matter. I just know they're putting it in the same box, and figure it shouldn't be marked that way. Just a head game for me. I'll probably pull the trigger. Didn't really spend any time with Low previously, and loved the new one. Need to go back and pick up some others now.
