RSD 2020

There's a live Alanis Morissette album on the list that I'm not really interested in, but it says it's a 2LP housed in a capacity jacket (sic).

What's a capacity jacket?
 
I have a question for anyone that picked up the RSD 'Bill Evans - Some Other Time (The Lost Session From The Black Forest)' album. Mine arrived with 2 seam splits at the top of the gatefold (one on each flap) so I rang the shop I bought it from to see if he had any other copies for a replacement/swap (I hadn't opened the record yet). Turns out that he only ordered 2, the copy I bought and one for himself. While he was on the phone he dug his copy out and it had the exact same seam-split. So, my question is - did anyone else have this issue?

My copy had no splits. I would guess it was a shipping issue to your local store. Have you tried contacting Resonance Records (Contact | Resonance Records

BTW, looking up their website just now I saw they're releasing yet another Bill Evans (live at Ronnie Scott's) for Black Friday.

Thats what I thought might have happened. I have actually had to deal with Resonance about issues before, quite recently in fact, when they sent me 2 of the same LP's within their Bill Evans In England set. It wasnt an easy process at all, but I will shoot them an email anyway and see if they have a spare jacket.

I did see that, they actually have quite a stack being released in the next drop and Black Friday. Heres a quote which I have been updating each time they announce another - If you expand it you will see the full list.

I would punch a baby to get my hands on that Koyaanisqatsi reissue during the October drop, but I have a "virtual associate's retreat" for work that day ( :rolleyes: ) and won't be able to make it to a record store. I have been lucky so far and been able to get everything I was looking for through online orders, but I'm worried I used up all my karma during the first two RSD drops.

I saw her live when she toured for the album. She has great stage presence and was quite funny between songs. About half the set were covers (the usual mix of obvious covers, Tom Waits, Serge Gainsbourg and Lee Hazelwood) but was a really good show.
