Seattle / Tacoma / Washington

Seattle folks - I'm in town for a quick work meeting, headed back to Portland this afternoon. If you only had time to stop at one local record store (could also be in Tacoma or Olympia), which one would you recommend?

How'd everyone fair with the aftermath of the bomb cyclone? I have about 20 Doug Firs within striking distance of my house, was white knuckling all night. Luckily nothing large came down around us, just a ton of branches and debris. Looks like its going to take days for PSE to sort it out. No vinyl spinning for a bit. boooo!

Tacoma really wasn’t impacted much. Not much high wind even. Listening to NPR now though and it sounds like there is a lot of power outages and downed trees. Guess we were lucky.

It's gonna be awhile. lol. I headed into the office super early this morning and passed a ton of PSE Cherry Pickers and Flatbeds with poles and parts. Stay safe out there.

Didn't feel any more intense up here in Victoria than the last couple of recent storms. Surprisingly sounds like my folks got hit pretty hard up on Nanaimo, despite being on the east side of the island and having a mountain between them and the west side. They were at a grocery store when the power went out and said that was very freaky.

I was having dinner at Wedgwood Broiler when the power went out. Luckily, my brother and I had cash. The power was out from 35th all the way to Roosevelt/I5.

The lights flickered a few times at my house, and the cable went out for 5-10 seconds, but otherwise fine. I haven't walked around the yard yet to see what came down from the small grove of western red cedars. 1 mile north, they lost power around 7p and didn't get it back until the last hour or so.
