The U.S. GZ-pressed Gold XP is fire.
I cleaned and listened to the entirety (even the hump that is Side D) and it is beautifully pressed.
The Discogs page The Artist (Formerly Known As Prince) - The Gold Experience for the U.S. release is funny. Folks arguing about EU vs U.S. / Pallas vs. GZ or which one is a more faithful replica. Given, without context, I'd choose a Pallas release of the same title over GZ any day. However, with the clear evidence in front of me (i.e. the stellar U.S. pressing), I'd throw that SOP out the window.
Any way, really happy to have this. I think it sounds brilliant. Anyone else have thoughts on the sound?
Ordered Gold Experience off a guy in Illinois on Discogs July 17th. I have questions.

It’s interesting that the creamy white for Hits 1 is only at Target while the one for Hits 2 is only at Walmart.
Prince always did like to spread around his creamy white...It’s interesting that the creamy white for Hits 1 is only at Target while the one for Hits 2 is only at Walmart.
So the Prince estate has been pretty weak this year. Only reissues, no deluxes or never-before-on-vinyl releases. Still, I needed to grab this because I got the purple Hits 1 off the website a couple years ago.

Yup, another sign of the estate's laziness. The B-sides has never been released on vinyl, and they ain't putting in the work to master it for vinyl. We need the B-Sides, dammit!
