No official announcement yet, but it seems some retailers must have secretly gotten early shipments. This is an eBay seller that sold these two releases. I'm not sure these are mock-ups. Judging from the catalog numbers on the hype stickers alone, these look like authentic Sony-distributed USA reissues.

Seems like these pictures took all the big Prince blogs by surprise. Dr. Funkenberry, Violet Reality, etc. But they seem to agree these look real. Look at the pictures on ebay. These are issued by Sony, licensed by WB. Just waiting on that official announcement.

So someone sold these on eBay, and not for some insane price. But it seems they were not supposed to yet? Is this a seller just going rogue or making a mistake?

One sold for $75 and one sold for $90. I mean they’re not super insane but that’s not cool for things that haven’t come out yet.
 
I think we all know that's not an insane price given the (temporary) exclusivity. We all know the crazy prices people are willing to pay for something that is unable to be had en masse.
I'm not justifying the actions of the seller, but the price was reasonable all things considered.
I guess I was more curious what the sellers angle is if they're not trying to make bank off of it. How'd they get it - fall off a truck? Because if they're a legit store/seller then would they not burn a relationship w a distributor by doing that?

I'm assuming those are import prices, U.S. releases should be announced soon. Maybe🤷‍♂️

Frustrated with the D&P and Symbol deluxe disappearances. I'd really like to get answers. 😠

Yea I assume with most certainty that there will be cheaper (~22-30) US releases.

But it's Sunday and I've gotta have something to cry about.
