STAR WARS! STAR WARS! STAR WARS

I've been meaning to do a full series rewatch and am actually kinda looking forward to the Phantom Menace; compared to the two movies following it, there's something to be said for the sheer amount of physical sets, props, and characters.

Your point is valid. But I would also like to point out that at no point did you use the English word, "plot".

As an 8 yr old (ish) I watched Return of the Jedi at the Cinema and loved it. I had not actually seen Empire at that point ! Star Wars having been a staple xmas TV showing but for some reason never had chance to see ESB - God this even predates family having VHS !

Im only 48 - thats not old.... really !!

My sister took me to see Return of the Jedi at the Cinerama Dome in Hollywood opening weekend. Great memory, and we still joke about the guy selling "Hot Jedi Coffee" to all the people in line.

Big day in my house as I watched A New Hope with my kids for the first time. It was their first exposure to Star Wars. They really enjoyed it and are excited to see the rest of the series. I think we can get through Return of the Jedi and then do the prequels but Revenge of the Sith might be a little too mature for them.

This popped up today. This was filmed at Northpark 1 & 2 here in Dallas which was the greatest movie theater this town has ever seen. It was later converted into a THX theater oversaw by Lucas himself. 70mm film. THX sound system. The last movie I got to see there was Titanic. Sadly, it's now a parking garage.

I used to go to Showbiz Pizza/Chuck E Cheese where they had a dinner room with a 3 color panel projector. I would sit in there and watch the making of Return of the Jedi that they had a constant loop instead of playing video games or swimming through the ball pits. My mother swears Empire Strikes Back was the first movie I saw in the theater. My brother says we watched the original Star Wars at a drive-in. My parents watched Close Encounters out of the front of our car while we watched Star Wars out the back in the bed of our station wagon.
