Did not get the Chance to Start Phase 3 yet but finished 2@DJSJ @Jan

I finished the first wave of Phase 3 last night; second wave starts in just over a week... things are getting INTENSE!
Where are you guys at?
I would pay for the extra option to get on the Rise ride. Yes, it’s expensive but that ride constantly goes down and you can get a dedicated return time. The Millennium Falcon ride is fun but if you can ride it twice, just be gunners the first time so you can watch how the pilots steer the ship. One side goes up and down, the other left and right. So you have to coordinate your actions. Ronto wraps are good, especially for breakfast. If you don’t have a cantina reservation, you can do a walk up. It’s fun for at least 30 minutes. Check out the water fountain near the rest rooms for a fun gag. The Kylo Ren appearances are usually pretty fun. Get some Blue Milk. So, admittedly, I’m not much of a Star Wars fan. I like the movies I’ve seen, I’m just not into it in a way that would cause me to deep dive into all the books, side tv shows/movies, and overall canon.
However, I find myself unexpectedly taking a trip to Disney World next month. I haven’t been since I was a teenager so I know it’ll look wholly unrecognizable. We do have one day at Galaxy’s Edge planned during said trip.
Any tips, tricks, or things I must do while there? I figured you peeps would more than likely know or have personal experience.

All I can get my hands on. I think I'm missing the Phase 2 mangaAre you reading the comics as well, or just the books?
Anyone opinions on the acolyte ,yet?
AgreeI'll begin with a nitpick that caused me to tilt for a second upon viewing last night. The opening crawl states "The Jedi Order and Galactic Republic have prospered for centuries without war," which feels like it invalidates The High Republic's publishing endeavor somewhat since the books and comics of The High Republic are focused on a large galactic conflict between the Jedi Order/Galactic Republic and the Nihil which has been incredibly bloody and destructive. These storylines started 100 years before The Acolyte and is currently running about 96.5 years before. This seems particularly strange given Vernestra Rwoh being involved in both storylines.
Anyway, outside of that odd little blip I'm fully all-in for The Acolyte. The casting has proven to be dynamite thus far. I'm particularly fond of Manny Jacinto's Qimir and the perfect blend of comedy, calm and sleeze he brings! Amandla Stenberg is doing a great job with her dual roles - you can damn near feel the difference between the sisters on sight. Top notch!
The fight sequences between Mae/Indara and Mae/Sol have been spectacularly entertaining. The fact that Carrie-Anne Moss was so heavily featured in all the lead-up promotions to the show only to be killed off before the opening credits rolled was pretty incredible. I wouldn't be surprised if we see her again in flashback or Force Ghost form before the show is over, but I'll be extra thrilled if we don't. (No slight on Moss - I just think it's a spectacular move away from predictability and tropes!)
I think the pacing has been a perfect balance of not too fast not too slow so far. Not dragging out the sister reveal was a great choice. As has holding back on the Sith reveal as "the gang" works their way through the more "procedural" setting the show has been giving us. I've seen some complaints about the "non-ending" that concludes episode 2, but I'm inclined to disagree. I don't think making us wait until the next episode to catch our first glimpse of Kelnacca was necessary. Seeing him at the end of episode 2, knowing we're headed there for episode 3 feels like a nice way of leaving something to look forward to without having to generate some sort of false cliffhanger so early in the show.
Most importantly: IT'S NICE TO SEE THEM DOING SOMETHING FUCKING DIFFERENT FOR A CHANGE. And nary a Skywalker in sight!! Having a completely different tonality to anything Star Wars that's come before this has been refreshing, as has having a cast of characters who aren't beholden to any stories that have come before (Vernestra being an exception to some extent, but so far it's really been in name only that she's connected with The High Republic publishing endeavor - we'll see if that changes in the coming weeks.)
I was expecting far more of a Sith focus than we've seen so far, but other than what I brought up in the opening paragraph, I have no issues with what they're doing here so far. I look very forward to more!
Thus far, I'm having a hard time imagining this knocking Andor out of my #1 spot for Star Wars television, but they're really gonna have to fuck it up from here for it not to have a strong shot at #2.
One episode in and:
I've been watching the prequels over the last couple weeks and it's wild how Lucas made the choice to depict the Jedi as a committee of out-of-touch loser cops. Even wilder that everyone who's come through since has adhered to that depiction.Yeah I will say after 2 EPs I'll continue to watch to see where it goes. But there is no fear of this competing with Andor for me.
I KNOW! Not only that, but their power is due to something that is basically an injectable drug. WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL MAN?! Like are you ACTIVELY TRYING TO DESTROY MY CHILDHOODI've been watching the prequels over the last couple weeks and it's wild how Lucas made the choice to depict the Jedi as a committee of out-of-touch loser cops. I've always looked at all the midichlorians talk in the prequels as the Jedi trying to quantify and constrain the Force, which does not work that way. Like their whole high midichlorian approach is incorrect, and helps lead to their downfall. I don't know how that's been expanded upon in any of the books or other materials, so I could be totally off base, but it's how I've always viewed it.
So now I read shadows of starlight 1-4 and I think I have to seriously Start phase 3Are you reading the comics as well, or just the books?
