Day 13 - THE SHADOW OVER INNSMOUTH (Lovecraft, 1936)
Play something that sounds like a sea shanty and/or references the seas and/or aquatic life and/or play something that you could consider as being an “antique” collectible and/or something that features an object on the cover that could be considered a “mysterious relic”.

The specific song linked from this album brings to mind the (spoiler alert) emotional climax to "The SpongeBob Squarepants Movie" when aquatic dwellers SpongeBob and Patrick are trapped and dehydrated in Shell City, the ocean collectible shop, and are saved with the power of a single tear from the goofy goobers.

Day 13 - THE SHADOW OVER INNSMOUTH (Lovecraft, 1936)
The tale of an antique collector on a tour of New England, who finds a mysterious relic and learns of the human-fish hybrid people of the town of Innsmouth. There’s a weird collection of sea shanties that has been released that draws inspiration from this story, the shanties being sung from the perspective of the sailors of Innsmouth.

Led Zeppelin "Presence"
(1976 Swan Song Japan)
This one fits several of the prompts. First, the cover features a family sitting at a table by a marina, so there is a reference to the sea. Also, what is that jet black thing on the table that the family is completely entranced by? That definitely looks like a mysterious relic that could summon some sea horror from another dimension. In the scene following this, I totally I expect tentacles to rise from the water behind and engulf the entire family. Lastly, I'll consider the record itself as being an "antique collectible", given it's an original pressing. So I think I hit three tentacles.

I know that this was already played in the thread... But! It was for a different prompt. I'm playing it for the maze on the front cover. Plus it's got "Skin in the Game" and with this signed card it certainly is a treasure 😍

Day 11 - FATALE (Ed Brubaker & Sean Phillips, 2012)
Limited graphic novel series featuring numerous cosmic horror elements. Centers around a femme fatale protagonist that does not age, that drives men and women that stay with her to madness, and who happens to be pursued by cultists that want to sacrifice her to their Great Old One deity.
Play something by a solo female artist. There is no other option today because you are ensnared in her tentacles.

Sleep - Leagues Beneath

Purges seas descender
To core of Caladan
Notice steel shelled form
Approach the ocean floor

Fathoms build, blood flows from ears, nose
Fractured crack upon faceplate grows
Downward seabyss fall on
Oceanisun's liquid dawn

Louvered ribcage, gills rise metamorph
Vacant seasuit collides sea floor

Do I get bonus tentacles for there being actual tentacles on the etching?

Kelpe - Ex-Aquarium

Artist name, album name, album cover, song title all meet these oceanographic criteria. The tentacled things with faces on the cover do have a bit of that "Innsmouth look."
