I was expecting better, after Reservation Dogs and What We Do In The Shadows. It is funny, and I will continue to watch it, but I find I spend half of each show trying to figure out who is under that wig or beard. I must say "oh hey its that guy" 10 times an episode.

Yeah, I have found it fun and amusing, a solid B overall, whereas WWDITS is one of my favorite comedies ever. Now that I've adjusted my expectations about it's quite enjoyable.

I wish I enjoyed WWDITS more. I just don't find it funny for some reason. I've tried watching it twice and just can't get into it. I had the same issue with the film as well but finally enjoyed it on my third viewing.

Same thing w me. I keep hearing how funny it is and might give it another shot but the first couple of times I tried I just didn't find I funny.
 
The premise and look just haven’t interested me with Our Flag Means Death, but I might try it some day. WWDITS however is one of my favorite comedies of the past few years. And it just keeps getting better.

This has been in development forever. I wonder if it's even still happening.

And there's already been two series based on WWDITD.

It was put on hold for a bit because Taika has been insanely busy. But hope they get back to it soon. And yes—i haven’t seen Wellington Paranormal yet but knew about that one as well.

Does it get better after episode 1? The plot felt a little predictable (at least he flashbacks).

The body eating scenes in particular felt a little gratuitous and made me uncomfortable to the point where I didn't want to continue. I didn't really need to see that to understand what was happening.

Strange as I enjoyed the pilot immensely. Regardless, I recommend you continue on...it's worth it imo 🤷
